Work of art I would like to make

"The world in 25 years time" Hmmmm, thats going to be an interesting place! The price of oil/fuel/food is spiralling up, some folks predict that this will just get worse and worse until "food wars" break out. Shouldn't that be oil wars? as its transportation costs that push up the price of food?? Funny how clever titling change's our perception of things...Do you think religion will help then, if there is a war?? Just wondering...you know, kicking the question about a bit...Established perceptions of reality...messing with that is my bag. I love pish stained mattresses and old chairs, stuff thats been around and speaks of real life. I propose to completely wrap a mattress in electrical cable, plug it in till it heats up and fills the space with the smell of old pish. The cable may partially deform the matress. I may rip and sew the mattress with the wire, the mattress may be free standing, rigid but leaning on its own electrical cable as in "Quad Transponder Coils". Depending on the gallery space, i may use more flourescents/neon signage and cables to expand the work from an object to an environment.
