Work of art I would like to make

I like to use my artwork to prompt thought about human survival in an alternative world without fossil fuels. As part of my degree show body of work, I made two installations. One was a display of unsophisticated hand-made implements and tools, combining technological waste with naturally occurring materials. In the other installation I utilised redundant computer carcasses as growbags for cultivating potatoes.

I would like to present a more ambitious version and scale of the former installation at the exhibition in the Truman Brewery in October 2009. The body of work would be influenced by my research and continuing development of ideas for alternative uses of obsolete computers and their components. Only practical, resourceful and useful applications for the technological waste would be considered.
