Ashford School of Art and Design

We are the last remaining dedicated Art School for Further Education. We offer students the opportunity to practice their choosen discipline all day every day in dedicated spaces with a variety of specialised lecturing staff. As well as covering a huge range of subjects including Fine Art, Multimedia, Photography, 3D Design and Textiles we also offer Higher Education courses where students can achieve their BA Degree in both Fine Art and Multimedia. Regardless of experience there is always a course to suit the artist within you.

Our Aims

To allow students to become the artist they want to be. We are here to nurture the new generation of creatives.

Location and Getting there

We are located in the centre of Ashford town which boosts the excellent transport links to London and Europe via Eurostar.

Academic Staff and Description

We have a wide range of practicing artists on the lecturing staff, all of which are timetabled in to ensure staff are allowed to teach their specialism. Aside from the scheduled timetabling students have access to all the staff all the time.

Student Facilities

Dedicated studio space for each course allows students to come in and work outside of their scheduled timetable.

Student Support

As well as being supported by an enthusiastic and dedicated lecturing team students have access to a personal tutor. The personal tutor is there to ensure your time at ASAD is as productive and enjoyable as possible
