Escuela De Arte Y Superior De Diseño De Vitoria-Gasteiz

On 22nd February 1994 the Escuela de Arte y Superior de Diseño de Vitoria-Gasteiz was incorporated into the educational system of the Pais Vasco government. It has since become the only publicly funded official school in the region to teach vocational courses in the arts and design field.

At present the school's curriculum includes Middle and Upper Level Vocational Courses from the Graphic Design family as well as Advanced Level studies in Interior Design, all taught in accordance with the LOGSE (General Organic Law of the Educational System. Law 1/1990 of 3 Oct).

The school is open to all students looking to acquire quality education and guaranteed training as professionals within the world of art and design.

Information For  Undergraduates

The school's curriculum offers one Middle Level Vocational Course and four Upper Level courses.

DESKTOP PUBLISHING (MIDDLE LEVEL):
The course duration is a minimum of one year plus an additional 25 hours to complete a final project. A period of work experience is also included.
Course modules -
- Basics of Graphic Design
- History of Art and the Graphic Image
- Typography: Desktop Publishing
- Graphic Industrial Techniques and Digital Production
- Desktop Publishing

GRAPHIC PUBLICITY (UPPER LEVEL):
Course duration is a minimum of two years with an additional 75 hours for a final project. A period of work experience is also included.

- Graphic Expression Techniques I and II
- History of Art and the Graphic Image I and II
- Theory of Graphic Design and Image Publicity
- Typography
- Information Media I and II
