Graduation may mark an end to your student days, but it is also the beginning of a new, and lifelong, relationship with the University of Bedfordshire. The Development and Alumni Relations office is here to help you keep in touch with other graduates and stay up-to-date with the news and developments at the University.

All graduates of the University, its former colleges or those who have completed a University of Luton- or University of Bedfordshire-validated degree from one of our partner institutions become alumni upon their graduation.

As an alumna or alumnus of the University of Bedfordshire, you are a part of a global network of over 30,000 former students who represent some 140 countries worldwide.

The new Development and Alumni Relations team is working hard to put together an exciting programme of events, benefits and publications in 2007, including changes to the alumni pages of the website and an exciting new alumni magazine.

Student Support

Help and support during your time as a student

At Luton campus the Student Centre is the place to go for advice and guidance on a range of non-academic issues including identity cards, exam timetable, assignment hand-in, fee payment, late enrolment, official letters.

Student Life

The focus for all student social activities is the University of Bedfordshire Students’ Union (UBSU), which promises to make your time at Uni an experience you will not forget!

UBSU provides you with an excellent base to get to know other students and to take part in a large cross section of Students’ Union activities. UBSU is affiliated to the National Union of Students (NUS), offering you membership of the largest national student organisation in Western Europe.

Membership to UBSU and NUS not only gets you discounts for shopping, clubbing, theatre tickets and travel, but also gives you the opportunity to be part of one of the country’s few pressure groups that gets results for students’ needs.

One of the best aspects of becoming a student is the opportunity to live independently. Living away from home can be fun but it can take a little getting used to. The easiest way to set about adapting to this new way of life is to live in the halls of residence provided by the University.

We offer purpose built accommodation to all our first-year undergraduate students at Bedford campus and Luton campus.
