Our Aims

The college prepares tomorrow's
artists, scholars and leaders through the
creation and study of new forms of artistic
expression, analysis and pedagogy. Our aim is to continue to grow that family.

Location and Getting there

We are located in Tampa, Florida, USA. With more than 2.5 million residents, Tampa Bay
is the most populous and affluent metropolitan
area in Florida. A thriving business community,
arts scene and a number of historic districts, make
Tampa one the world’s most desirable areas to
live. From historic Ybor City, Tampa’s own Latin
Quarter, and the nearby Greek community of
Tarpon Springs, to the thrills of Busch Gardens,
there are plenty of exciting attractions and social
venues to explore. Orchestras, world-class performance
halls, museums, galleries and theater
groups, add charm, culture and elegance to this
vibrant and dynamic city. Boasting an average
annual temperature of 72 degrees, it’s no small
wonder more than 85,000 of 200,000 graduates
since USF’s first commencement in 1964 continue
to live in the Tampa Bay area.
