Student Support - Stourbridge College

Student services are here to support you. We have a team of specialist staff who work together to provide help and advice. Whatever your question or problem, you can bring it to us and we will do our best to help you.

Student Services is based within the reception area at the Hagley Road Centre.

Information, advice and guidance is offered on a variety of topics related to training, work, career development and financial support whilst training. Up-to-date information and advice is also available on Stourbridge College’s own provision.

No charge is made for any of the information, advice or guidance services that we offer clients. The service is open to clients over 16 years of age but there is no upper age limit. Clients do not have to be unemployed or live in any specific geographical area.

The Student Services Team is made up of individuals with a number of different skills and areas of expertise. We aim to ensure that you see the correct person to help you deal with your enquiry. A full list of the team members, their areas of expertise and relevant qualifications can be found in Student Services, Hagley Road.

Information, Advice and Guidance is offered for Stourbridge College courses and the College’s community provision. The information contains costs of training, methods of payment, course content, remission of fees details, entry requirements, progression routes and access to sources of financial support.

Advice and Guidance is offered for clients enquiring about career development, finding a job and getting back to work. A jobs board is also in the office advertising local vacancies.
