|Although I believe I would be able to sufficiently record and reproduce any object by being one with the world, I come to envisage squarely and consciously the existence of drawing and realities of painting more I pursue my works.
This is the reason for my resorting to touch technique rather than drawing objects.
I believe that, in painting, touch and color are the existence and the fundamental elements of drawing.
Such unique technique of exquisitely and highly densely restoring the trace of brushing, which were performed coarsely with wide brushes by following the target object should be seen as the variation and propagation of the drawing itself rather than the significance of the target object, as well as the scenery revealed from the drawing itself. One could also cogitate on the ascetic attitude of practicing such.
