Artist: Banksy
Created On: 2006
Image Medium: Household emulsion on metal
Image Dimensions: 43 x 168 cm
Art work Description:
A unique one-off work, hand-painted by Banksy and exhibited at his 'Barely Legal' show in L.A. (September 2006). A rare, original free-hand work which comes with full provenance - acquired directly from the show. 'Abandon Hope' hand-painted in large lettering across the sheet. In small lettering the words '(Weekdays 9am-5pm)' have been hand-painted by Banksy. Truly original works by Banksy are now becoming extremely scarce and sought after. (Note: This original work is hand-signed and dated by Banksy in black marker pen, on reverse). A variation of this work had originally appeared across Shoreditch Bridge but has since been removed.
