Art work Description:
This picture was selected in the 7th National Fine Arts Exhibition, as well as the 2nd Chinese Modern Arts Exhibition in US. It participated in Euro-Asia Art Biennial held in Ankara in turkey. The picture reveals a country boy with a desire for the outside world. Beside him is crawling farm cattle and further away, a misty sun. The artist used the painting knife, depicting layer by layer and time after time, and spent 2 years to finish the painting. The cattle look like cattle at a first glance. With the callus on its back, the cattle were like a mountain at a second look, and tones as well. It also looked like the chapped farm land. The cattle’s dedication and its master’s fate were cause the viewers to fall into a reverie. The cattle were not just cattle, it were a symbol of hard-working, honesty and persistence.
