|This sculptural installation is all about looking up rather than concentrating upon where your next foot's step will fall or on your line of sight; its about looking at the space around us, about seeing structure often "under-looked".
mind your step directly references the gallery ceiling and is an exercise in paring down excess to reveal the form and shadow of the everyday. Within the roof space kiln-formed glass sections are suspended with stainless steel. Together they cascade in a rhythmic fashion over the top of the walls. Referencing the grid and the angular steel sections of the ceiling, they fall down the face of the wall catching our eye when we were looking elsewhere.
