Art work Description:
From the Concept Peace Collection, this work is a peace piece. While cherry fruit does not come from Nagasaki, cherry blossom grows extensively there where it symbolizes life’s transient nature: a short blossoming season. This work contains images of abundance and profusion of fruit and blossom filled with light coming after nuclear annihilation and darkness.
