Bob Dylan - Nashville Skyline
Click on the image to go back to the profile page

Artist: Elliott Landy
Image Medium: Open edition color photographic print
Image Dimensions: approx. 28.5cm x 35.6cm
Art work Description:
11" x 14" color print, from an open edition, signed and titled by the artist, Elliott Landy. Unframed/unmatted. Shot at his Byrdcliff home in Woodstock, NY in 1969 for what was to be one of Dylan's most-loved (and most country) albums. The shot was originally supposed to be for the back of the album cover (Dylan already had picked out a shot of the Nashville skyline for the front), and he's smiling because he was visualizing himself as looking kinda goofy in that the traditional hat he had put on his head. Note that Dylan's wearing his favorite jacket (the same one he wore on "John Wesley Harding" and "Blonde on Blonde").
