Exhibition Photo Description:
some of the designs found in our forthcoming Exhibition on the subject of Ancient Tribal Occult and Sacred Art, the design, meaning and symbolism, as well as the relationship between Buddhism and Animist/Occult beliefs in Thailand and surrounding border areas. Most of the ancient grimoires in the exhibition are in different Sacred Script, belonging to various Hilltribes including the Tai Yai, the Mon and the Karen Hilltribes, as well as some Laoatian, Burmese and Khmer art. Some of the Grimoires containing this Ancient Art are hundreds of years old. Related mediums in this Exhibition; The Sacred Geometry of Yantra is also applied to other mediums including cloth, metal, wood, powder amulets, and even tattooed on the Human skin (Sak Yant). These mediums will also be dealt with in this Exhibition. All items in this Exhibition are provided kindly for free during the Exhibition by our Patron, Ajarn Spencer Littlewood
