A ARTE DA TERRA

It's a Gallery dedicated to the most genuine portuguese arts. We are in the historic heart of Lisbon, in the left side of the Lisbon cathedral.
We made 3 or 4 exhibitions a year, and some of them - because their cultural statement - were visited by Portuguese President Jorge Sampaio's wife,Mrs Maria Jose Ritta, President Cavaco Silva's wife, Mrs. Maria Cavaco Silva, and some Ministers of Culture, such as Mr. Augusto Santos Silva, Mr. pedro Roseta, Mrs Isabel Pires de Lima, among many others persons.
We do not sell regional articles, we sell traditions in selection of materials and crafts, trying to meet the comfort, design and quality requirements of today. A "A Arte da Terra" and the craftsmen who create the examples of the traditional arts and crafts available in our shop also allow customers to make their own "creations" by ordering pieces in different materials such as iron, wood, stone or sandstone, without forgetting every kind of weaving and embroidery
