Galerie Anton Weller has been developed following two different routes. Isabelle Suret has been organizing exhibitions since 1994 at the gallery and also beyond in private locations, shops, hotel rooms, occupied and unoccupied apartments, under the title "chez l'un, l'Autre" ("At One's Place, at the Other").
Having, since the day one of the Gallery's creation, the vision of how important the new role of women in artistic creation was (Dana Wyse,Isabelle Levenez..) how crucial video as a new media was (Aernout Mik, Douglas Gordon, Wyn Geleynse, Pierre Giner...) and how talented and creative the very young artists were, Galerie Anton Weller dedicated itself in the support of these new trends.
