Art Scene Warehouse was one of the earliest galleries in Shanghai and continues to be at the forefront of presenting talented, creative and exciting Chinese contemporary art. Art Scene Warehouse is probably Shanghai's largest private gallery and was one of the founders of the 50 Moganshan Road art district of the city (without the gallery there, the entire area may have been torn down by real estate developers). Art Scene Warehouse created and continues to operate the Chinese Art Prize (CAP) - an annual art competition for emerging Chinese artists which discovers many of the country's top talents.
