We also have a wide variety of work by various artists in our upstairs gallery Seomra de Paor which changes regularly for those looking for an ideal gift or investment opportunity.

The Old Market Film Club screens Spring & Autumn/Winter seasons of arthouse cinema.

We host an annual Christmas Art and Craft Exhibition which runs from late November to December

Submission Policy

The Old Market House Arts Centre reviews applications on a regular basis for those wishing to exhibit. Please submit the following details with your application:

1) A short written statement of your work (one page, preferably typed) including

the ideas, sources and themes behind your work
your working methods and medium
reasons for wanting to show at The Old Market House Arts Centre
2) A minimum of six and a maximum of 12 good quality slides or colour photographs. Full details for each image are required, i.e.
-the title
-medium
-measurements
-date of work

3) An up-to-date Curriculum Vitae with
-your contact details
-education
-relevant experience
-previous exhibitions
-awards

4) Please specify the availability of your work.
The time scale you would require to produce an exhibition
Price points at which your work is currently selling

Note : Applicants may be asked to come into the Arts Centre for an informal interview.

If you are working in 2D we usually request that samples be brought in at exhibition presentation level (i.e. framed)

Opening Times

The Arts Centre is open Tuesday to Saturday 11am to 5pm.
During the summer period our gallery hours are extended.
