The Artist Sanctuary

The Sanctuary is an artist led, not-for-profit organisation founded in 2002 with the specific aim of providing studio resources and exhibition opportunities for artists and creatives in and around Northampton.
The Sanctuary has occupied its current premises since October 2003 and at present is the only fine art studios and gallery of this kind in the town.
Originally formed with start up capital by The Princes Trust, The Sanctuary’s reputation has grown, meaning that we are now supported by, amongst others, Northampton Borough Council and Northampton Community Foundation. 2006 has seen us secure crucial Arts Council UK funding.
