De March gallery takes life in may 2003 in Milan, in the emerging central area called isola, a district where some of the most important architects such as Libeskind Hadid and Isozaki have won an international competition to build a new museum and others important building, with the aim to create a space to present and promote projects sited in the context of the italian and international artistic research.
The gallery works mainly with artists of the current generation, wanting to produce and present innovative artistic projects showing and opening towards any field of experimentation in the gallery space or different site also with the collaboration of other insitituion involve in the contemporary art promotion such as the chamber of commerce of Milan, Artegiovane Milano a collectors association and others.
In these few years the director of the gallery, Alessandro De March, wich took full ownership of the space in 2003, has built a wide network of contacts around the work done, being able to become a centre and point of reference for artists, collectors and curators.
