M2 Gallery [Square Metre] Gallery | |
The m2 (m kwadrat/square metre) gallery was set up in January 2007.
It represents a selected group of young, emerging artists: Jakub Adamek, Michał Frydrych, Rafał Jakubowicz, Paweł Janas, Agnieszka Kieliszczyk,Kamil Kuskowski, Miłosz Pobiedziński, Igor Przybylski and Piotr Wachowski.
We also collaborate with promising student artists, such as Paweł Dunal, giving them their first individual shows.
The gallery’s founder, Matylda Prus, is a young art historian with several years’ experience of working in the art market environment (Warsaw’s Program Gallery, Rempex auction house). She frequently contributes to a number of Polish art and design magazines (Art&Business, Fluid) and dailies (Rzeczpospolita).
The gallery aims to promote its artists both in Poland and abroad through exhibitions (also in collaboration with foreign galleries), project assistance, publications and participation in fairs.
We work with both private collectors and institutions – those expanding their existing collections and those about to make their first purchase.
