Recognized as "the Russian Degas", Valery Kosorukov is a prominent Russian fine artist acknowledged worldwide for capturing ballet's quintessence through his studied application of pastel and oil.

Art of Russia Gallery is pleased to announce an exhibition of Russian landscape paintings. The exhibition will include 40 paintings by prominent Russian artists Valery Kosorukov, Nikolai Timkov, Alexander Derbenyov, Ivan Tikhi and others. Also included in the exhibition will be several original oil paintings and giclee prints by Yevgeni Shchukin. The exhibited works range in time from the 1950s to the present and encompass diverse artistic styles and viewpoints.
