David Gill Galleries

David Gill, originally from Zarazoga in Spain is known internationally as a leading producer and dealer of contemporary design. He opened his first gallery in Fulham Road, London in 1987 and starting showing furniture by top designers such as Charlotte Perriand, Jean Prouve, J-E Ruhlmann and Eileen Gray. Before long however, he also began working with artists like Donald Judd and Yves Klein, and young practitioners such as Tom Dixon and Ron Arad. In 1999, Gill opened a second 30,000 sq ft gallery in south London where he now shows largely contemporary work in limited editions by his stable of designers, which includes Fredrikson Stallard, Zaha Hadid, Mattia Bonetti, Garouste & Bonetti, and Barnaby Barford. Pieces from David Gill Galeries can be found in both private and museum collections around the world.
