Gallery Barry Keldoulis

After nearly a decade in New York working with Henry Geldzahler, Commissioner of Cultural Affairs for the City of New York, and a number of years in Europe, Barry Keldoulis returned to Sydney in 1996 to work in the museum and commercial gallery worlds. In 2003 he decided to open his own gallery to fill a gap in opportunity for young artists to exhibit between artist-run spaces and the major commercial galleries. After three years, Gallery Barry Keldoulis represents fifteen artists, mainly young and emerging, and has sold works to major private and public collections such as the National Gallery of Victoria, Art Gallery of New South Wales, Artbank and the Queensland Art Gallery.
