Glenn Green Galleries

Glenn Green Galleries began its business in Phoenix, Arizona in 1966. Through the years they were representatives for such luminaries as Allan Houser, Dan Namingha and John Waddell. Known originally as The Gallery Wall, they also established locations on Marshall Way in Scottsdale and in downtown Santa Fe. At present they display works of international artists at The Phoenician Resort, Scottsdale, Az in a changing exhibition Atrium gallery and throughout the grounds. In New Mexico they have a gallery in the lovely village of Tesuque that has an expansive sculpture garden five miles north of Santa Fe’s Plaza.

Painters Kenji Yoshida, John Hogan and Harriet Johns show work with sculptors Jeffrey Maron, John Reeves, Troy Williams and Melanie Yazzie. The Greens also have work by the late sculptors Eduardo Oropeza and Allan Houser. Call for more information.

Current Exhibitions

Glenn Green Galleries has recently received new sculpture by Jeffrey Maron. This New York City artist has degrees in both sociology and fine arts and has exhibited internationally. His work is fabricated of copper, textured and then colored with oxides and salt glazes.

Maron received three grants from the National Endowment for the Arts, a grant from the Pollock/Krasner Foundation and was given a Fulbright-Hayes Grant that allowed him to study in Japan for two years.

His sculpture may be seen at the gallery’s locations at The Phoenician in Scottsdale, Arizona and in Tesuque, New Mexico. www.glenngreengalleries.com

porary Visual Arts plus new work by their friend and colleague, Melanie Yazzie, Navajo.
