PINTA

PINTA is the only art event dedicated to Latin American Art providing a unique platform in Europe to exhibit and promote Latin American artists. PINTA also includes artists from Spain and Portugal reflecting these countries’ undeniable influence in the formation of the Latin American identity.
In its fourth year in London, PINTA is an anticipated event where patrons, private collectors, galleries and museums meet to build their knowledge and widen their networks in the Latin American art world.

Artists Represented

One of this year’s highlights will include the Solo Exhibitions of the Argentineans Cesar Paternosto and Luis Tomasello. Paternosto\'s Show will focus on his works that relate to the birth of Latin American Geometric Abstraction. Luis Tomasello\'s works will convey his ongoing fascination with movement, light, colour, reflections and shadows.


Continuing to promote young Latin American artists, this year’s PINTA Projects will be curated by Catherine Petitgas and Kiki Mazzucchelli. Catherine Petitgas is a collector, patron of the arts and author of Contemporary Art Brazil. Kiki Mazzucchelli is a Brazilian independent curator and writer working between London and São Paulo. PINTA Projects will focus on Latin American artists living and working in Europe.

PINTA London, Europe’s only art fair dedicated to modern and contemporary Latin American art, will return to Earls Court for its fourth edition from 4-7 June 2013.

More than 50 international galleries will exhibit and sell works by artists from around Latin America, and for the second year PINTA London will also present the work of artists from Spain and Portugal, reflecting these countries\' undeniable influence in the formation of the Latin American identity.

Highlights of this year’s show will include:

• Solo exhibition of works by Argentinean painter and sculptor Cesar Paternosto, with a focus on his position at the vanguard of Latin American Geometric Abstraction

• PINTA Projects, which this year will be curated by Catherine Petitgas and Kiki Mazzucchelli, with a focus on young Latin American artists living and working in Europe.
