Artists Represented

The gallery programme features contemporary artists across the disciplines of sculpture, painting, drawing, glass, textiles, ceramics and photography. The gallery gives 80% of its calendar to exhibiting contemporary works researched by the gallery team and from national touring exhibitions from prestigious venues such as the Hayward Gallery and Marlborough Graphics. A further 10% of the programme is committed to hiring the gallery to local/regional artists and the remaining 10% to community linked projects. The Gallery continues to support local and emerging talent as part of its programming strategy.

Previous Exhibitions

An installation by Julie Hoyle displayed screen-prints on large perspex, boxes, lit from the inside. The sculptural forms flooded the space with projected layers of light and shadow, creating an atmosphere that could be located in a virtual or dream world.

Eat Art was a juried exhibition of works by artists in response to the theme. Installation, jewellery, decorative objects, film, textiles, photography, painting and ceramics were featured as part of this exhibition.
