ROLLO Contemporary Art

ROLLO was established in 2005 and quickly gained attention with its outside project The Writer by Giancarlo Neri, a 30 metre high table and chair by installed on Hampstead Heath in summer 2005.

During 2005 and 2006 ROLLO Contemporary Art was based in Islington at 17 Compton Terrace - a grandiose house setting which provided and intimate environment to view art. In 2007 the gallery moved to London W1, where it is now permanently based at 51 Cleveland Street on the two floor shop and basement space.

The move is symptomatic of the gallery directors' strong belief in making art less exclusive and more accessible, to be able to reach a wider audience.

As well as holding exhibitions within the gallery space ROLLO works in collaboration with outside locations such as The Royal Academy and The Arts Club to exhibit gallery artists.

ROLLO is dedicated to representing high quality art of all media, both abstract and realist which is technically well made and makes a valid contribution to the developing story of art.
