SPACE

SPACE projects | residency lab | store (the former Gallery Priestor for Contemporary Arts), founded in 1999, is a curated project space focusing on the permanent scanning and presentation of the most innovative and experimental forms of contemporary art. Our mission is to create an interactive space for the communication between the audience and contemporary art and to initiate international co-operation and exchange as well as to help to develop the local art scene.

During its existence SPACE has initiated 2 international networks: Billboart gallery Europe and Crazycurators. org, organised 5 international conferences, more than 60 exhibitions and number of other events. In 2006 Space organised Crazycurators Biennale, accompanied by Crazycurators Award and launched SPACE Residency Lab.
