Focal Point Gallery

Since its opening in 1991, Focal Point Gallery has established itself as an innovative and lively gallery with a regional, national and international profile. The gallery programme has evolved to reflect the changes in practice of artists working with lens-based media within the expanded field of contemporary art. The organisation shows approximately seven exhibitions each year, while the emphasis in the programme is on work that explores new developments in contemporary art and which challenges traditional definitions of the medium.
