Current Exhibitions

At our new Miami location:

'Beyond the Body: An Inaugural Exhibition'

In their own, very distinct ways, the works of 12 artists speak to the representation of the human body and its connection to that which exists beyond the physical realm of passive flesh and its aesthetic appearance. The soma-body is the source of our capacity to feel and to think: It is the nature of our bodily perceptions that fashion our knowledge and construction of the world. The body is the basic medium of experience and existence. It is both the object and the subject of works that question the role it plays in realm of ethics, cognition, politics and aesthetics. The works question the conception of corporeality itself.

Artists: Barmak Akram, Anju Chaudhuri, Movana Chen, FX Fagniez, Thierry Farcy, Debesh Goswami, Jose de Guimaraes, Damien Hirst, Anish Kapoor, Bose Krishnamachari, Akbar Padamsee and Manish Pushkale
