Gallery/Dealer Details - Tingo Design Gallery
"Tingo is a word from the Pascuense language of Easter Island meaning "to borrow objects from a friend's house, one by one, until there's nothing left"
Transit of the objects from a place to the other is the idea that has guided the birth of the gallery in Milan: movements in order to expose, to estimate, to observe and to tell small and great objects of the italian design since the last fifty years.
The narration strongly represents a moment value for the gallery that - through images, notes and stories of the same designers - collects all the objects in the website archives in continuous increase.
The job comes carried out thanks to the direct contribution of the designers and through the free consulting small library present in gallery.
TINGO is a point of reference for those who today wish to move in the world of the objects through the tangibility of the materials, the exaltation of the images and the curiosity of stories.
Opened from Tuesday to Saturday, timetable 3.30-7.30 p.m., the TINGO gallery will propose periodic thematic exhibitions, with regular services of search, sale and chartering of objects.
TINGO is born from the ideas of Daniele Lorenzon, Edoardo and Piermaria Scagliola."
