Gallery/Dealer Details - Ani Molnár Gallery

The ANI MOLNÁR GALLERY started its activity in 2008. The gallery is located in the city centre of Budapest providing a space for vivid art life. We represent both promising young talents and acknowledged artists, aiding their local and international promotion. Quality and diversity are our basic values while the Gallery is receptive to a wide range of artistic thinking, expression and techniques, although its main focus is on installation, sculpture and painting. Giving priority to curatorial concepts we provide solo and group exhibitions. The Gallery considers the presentation of Eastern-European art as of great importance.

Since the beginnings, ANI MOLNÁR GALLERY also organizes exhibitions at external locations, e.g. displaying installations and sculptures on a grand scale at PARK GALLERY, which is a project space located in the shopping centre MOM Park. ANI MOLNÁR GALLERY aims to encourage the introduction of art to a wider public, and to promote art in a public space where it is not necessarily represented. For this project the Gallery was awarded the prestigious Summa Artium Prize in 2009.

We take part in local and international art fairs and shows, the Gallery is a regular participant of the Budapest Art Fair from 2008, exhibited in Viennafair and Berlin Preview in 2011. The director of the Gallery Annamária Molnár is the president of the Hungarian Contemporary Art Galleries Association since 2011.
