Gallery/Dealer Details - Ani Molnár Gallery

The Ani Molnár Gallery started its activity in November 2008 in Budapest. The gallery organizes solo and group exhibitions giving priority to curatorial concepts and considers the presentation of Eastern-European art in Hungary and abroad as a matter of great importance. Open to all media, special emphasis is placed on installation art. The artists exhibiting at the gallery are internationally acknowledged young and mid-career artists with active participation in international art events such as the Venice Biennale, Manifesta, Liverpool Biennial. Numerous works of its artists are in prestigious public collections and have been exhibited in well-known museums including MUSAC, Spain; KUMU, Estonia; Bozar, Belgium; the Ludwig Museum of Contemporary Art, Hungary.

The Ani Molnár Gallery hosts a series of non-profit public space exhibitions as well organized at the Park Gallery located inside Mom Park. This project has been encouraging interaction between contemporary art and a wider audience for 7 years. The Park Gallery project received the Summa Artium Award in 2009.
The active presence at internationally well-known art fairs is crucial for the Gallery. Since 2012 the gallery has been a participant at Artissima in Turin as the first Hungarian gallery. The Ani Molnár Gallery has exhibited three times at the Viennafair, the most important art fair organized in and focusing on the CEE Region. In 2014 the Gallery participates at ARCOmadrid, as the first Hungarian exhibitor at The Armory Show, New York and Art Brussels.
In June 2013 the Ani Molnár Gallery first time from the CEE region received the prestigious Innovation and Creativity Award founded by F.E.A.G.A. (Federation of European Art Galleries Association) in Basel.
