Gallery/Dealer Details - DEAN PROJECT

DEAN PROJECT was established in the fall of 2005 as private dealers based in midtown Manhattan. The opening of the public gallery space took place on September 15, 2007 in Long Island City NY; this 2,500 sqft gallery building is located directly behind the P.S.1 Museum.
Selected gallery press includes Bazaar, W, Harpers, Womens Wear Daily, Elle Decor, Artillery LA, ARTES, Art Nexus, Hamptons, Kuwait City Al-Watan Daily, Wall Street Journal, The Art Newspaper, New York Times, ARTINFO, artnet, Plum TV and Showtime.
Over the past four years DEAN PROJECT has exhibited at over thirty contemporary art fairs including NEXT Chicago, FEMACO Mexico City, CIRCA Puerto Rico, Art Palm Beach, Toronto TIAF and Scope Basel, New York and Miami. From the time the public gallery opened our program has consisted of fifteen exhibitions to date including solo, group and annual independent curated summer invitational.
The gallery is currently collaborating with Sheikh Majed Al-Sabah on a series of exhibitions at the Al-Sabah Gallery in Kuwait City. The first DEAN PROJECT curated exhibition opened May 7, 2009 entitled "Exporting Pop: A Western Fantasy" which included twenty-two artists from the DEAN PROJECT stable.
We look forward to the upcoming season with our exhibition opening September 19th featuring the work of Barbara Wesissberger, Karlos Carcamo and Nicholas Kashian.
