Artists Represented - Rafart Gallery - Lorenzo Quinn
Lorenzo Quinn, the prestigious Italian sculptor who was born in Rome in 1966, has granted exclusive rights to the Rafart Gallery to be the only place where it is possible to see all of his works and to get a real insight into the personal world of this artist.
Although he is still very young in terms of the world of art, it is possible to say that Lorenzo Quinn has already had a long artistic career. From a tender age, he demonstrated the capacity to communicate emotions through his work. For example, at only 21, he won the respect of the art lovers of New York when he created a work for the United Nations, which was also commemorated in the form of a stamp.
A short time later, he was commissioned by the Vatican to produce a sculpture to commemorate the eighth centenary of the death of Saint Anthony. The Pope blessed the sculpture in Saint Peter’s Square before 35,000 people and it was then placed in the Basilica, where it remains to this day, and has become one of the most visited works in the city.
He has held exhibitions on all five continents and his work is present at all of the world’s major international art fairs. All of his work reflects the quest for a world united by emotions and values, many of which are often forgotten.
