This major internationally traveling exhibition features approximately 200 photographs from one of the most celebrated photographers of our time, Annie Leibovitz. The exhibition encompasses both the photographer's personal and professional work, including family photographs and portraits of public figures such as Colin Powell, Demi Moore, Brad Pitt, and Bill Clinton.

Mel Bochner: Drawing from Four Decades

This display of 25 works from SDMA's Edwin Binney 3rd Collection highlights paintings from South India, an area that has rarely been represented in previous exhibitions.

Tastes in Asian Art

This thematic concept for displaying the Asian collection highlights the diverse tastes of different social groups—the imperial ruling class, scholars, warriors, and common people—and features a separate section dedicated to religious art, as well as a new section devoted to Persian art.

American Art
American Visionaries: The Collection at 80

This new installation in the Museum's American gallery acknowledges five important donors who were most instrumental in shaping SDMA's collections. The display includes visitor favorites and rarely seen works by artists such as Mary Cassatt, Roy Lichtenstein, and Georgia O'Keeffe.
