Getting There - Kunstmuseum Wolfsburg

The Kunstmuseum Wolfsburg is located centrally within Germany between Hanover and Berlin. The next airport is in Hanover-Langenhagen. Wolfsburg is connected to the Cologne - Hanover - Berlin trainline and can be comfortably reached from Berlin or Hannover with the high speed train ICE.
The Kunstmuseum Wolfsburg is the gate to the city and is situated in the heart of Wolfsburg.
Take Autobahn A2, Hannover/Berlin, to Wolfsburg interchange. Follow A39 for Wolfsburg to exit marked 'Wolfsburg'. Go straight ahead to the city centre and you cannot miss the impressive building made of glass and steel at the Southern end of the pedestrian mall.

By car
Take Autobahn A2, Hanover/Berlin, to Wolfsburg interchange. Follow A39 for Wolfsburg to exit marked "Wolfsburg". Straight ahead on a dual road (Braunschweiger Strasse) to an intersection with an Esso service station on one side and a Holiday Inn Hotel on the other. Go straight across and immediately turn right into underground parking. Please follow the signs indicating 'Kunstmuseum'. The escalator leads straight to the museum entrance.

By train
Wolfsburg is connected to the Cologne - Hanover - Berlin trainline and can be comfortably reached from Berlin or Hanover with the high speed train ICE. There is another connection via Braunschweig. If you are looking for connections or would like to reserve tickets and seats, it is possible to do so online at www.bahn.de.
The Kunstmuseum is located within a walking distance of 20 min. following Porschestrasse, which begins in proximity to the train station.

By plane
The next airport is Hannover-Langenhagen. The Airport Bus will take you in approximately 30 minutes to Hanover Central Station. The ICE train takes 34 minutes from Hanover to Wolfsburg. By taxi the journey from the airport to the Central Station in Hanover is approximately 15 minutes.
There are also Airport Shuttles / City Hoppers which take you directly from the airport to Wolfsburg. Ask your travel agency for further information.
