Centre Culturel Yvonne Bombardier

The J.Armand Bombardier Foundation was created in 1972 and has supported the Centre Culturel de Valcourt since. A library and exhibition centre offer art-based educative services and activities to its visitors, within a dynamic collaboration between visual arts, literature, and local heritage.


Permanent Collection

LIBRARY

Composed of a collection which is enriched monthly, the library offers loan and consultation services of its 44,000 documents and publications.
Users have access to books, periodicals, games and multimedia documents, as well the opportunity to take part in educational and cultural activities based around the theme of the book.


Exhibitions

The exhibition centre brings together architecture and nature to offer artists an exceptional space. A wide range of artistic disciplines have exhibited in the space.
With constant reference to history and creativity, the centre presents exhibitions year-round, accompanied by cultural events for the local and international public. Activities based around an artistic theme take place to encourage and promote creative expression in our visitors.
