Musée Des Beaux Arts D'Arras

Created during the revolution, the Musée des Beaux-Arts d’Arras presents a diverse collection, spanning a wide period of time and several areas of interest.

The building itself is of great importance, and has housed the museum collection for nearly two centuries. It is the Benedictan abbey of Saint-Vaast, completely rebuilt in 1754 under the orders of Armand Gaston de Rohan. Its vast surface circles a courtyard and two elegant cloisters. It serves as a remarkable home to the pieces presented within it.
