Musees De La Ville D'Eaux

A permanent exhibit presents works created in Spa wood. They evoke the activity of this celebrated thermal town. In addition, two temporary exhibits are installed each season in the Marie-Henriette villa, which is named for the Belgian Queen who died in Spa in 1902.

Les musées spadois
Le Musée de la Ville d'eaux
The drawings, engravings, and paintings displayed in the Museum’s rooms tell the history of Spa, its famous visitors and the everday gestures relevant to the cure. Visitors can also see numerous pieces, such as the assortment of curious bottles made to transport the water from Spa to Europe and America. One can admire a unique collection of objects in painted and varnished wood that are finely decorated and named “Spa Wood

Education

Guided visits are possible by appointment in either French or Dutch. Only the ground floor of the museum is handicap accessible. There is a combined ticket with the Horse Museum of Spa as well. To find out more, please email : info@spavillaroyale.be
