Museo De Historia

The Museo de Historia (formerly the Museo Municipal) was inaugurated on the 10th June 1929. Since then it has been located in the former Hospicio de Madrid, a building constructed during the reign of Felipe V between 1721 and 1726 by the architect Pedro de Ribera. The main façade and splendid door work in particular are testament to the architect’s master work in Spanish baroque.
