Description:In Contemplation, the use of a stained-glass nun set in a lightbox surrounded by tufting evokes a focal point for meditation. Most poignant about this piece, is the choice of the triangle to lend an overall shape to the work. Not only reminiscent of the mythology of the Holy Trinity, the triangle also hints at the inherent geometry in expressions of piety.
