My project started out looking at the preservation of heritage, and the how heritage is passed down and preserved through the generation that are born into it. I looked at artists such as Joana Vasconcelos, and the idea of the preservation through women, because women bare the children. I also looked at Angela Palmer and that heritage is preserved in us, and the human skin. I made sculptures of dried flowers covered in wax, and took close photos of them. This is what I painted my final piece on. |
