This is my painting of the Millennium Bridge with the St Pauls Cathedral in the background. I took a very unique approach to this by using a wide range of colours and brush strokes. I took my inspiration from John Virtue because he is using strong and rough brush strokes to create different type of moods and feelings. His expressive way of working inspired me to do something similar but with my own twist of adding a variety of colours in my own style. I made my work look surreal because I like the way surrealism captures attention as it is so abstract and dreamlike. Living in London made me appreciate the historical architecture and their landmarks. |
