A prescription is an instruction; a performative direction. The binding trust between doctor and patient now means that the instruction upon the prescription becomes compulsary.
A prescription is a verbal explanation of a patient's problem, which is sometimes lost in translation between doctor and patient. In applying art to a medicinal setting, we could instead use visual vocabulary in the place of the verbal vocabulary to heighten the understanding for the patient.
A prescription has a beneficial impact on the brain, which is reflected in the work through simulacrum representations of the brain. |
