Through photography I depicted the ancient Greek gods within a modern family construct. From left to right is Poseidon, Zeus, Hades, Hera and Iris. This presentation shows the rivalries and issues surrounding the Greek gods within the portrait of a disfunctional family life; particularly the conflict between siblings and marriage is displayed in this piece. The modern interpreatation highlights the de-idolisation of the gods as higher beings. |
