This sculpture is created from a wide range of materials and techniques. It depicts a human torso full of representations of the organs inside made from the products that destroy them. The lungs are painted to resemble cigarette packets, gut is full of and labelled with fast food and liver painted with alcoholic branding. The front of the torso (which is sadly not shown clearly in the attached image) is covered with text and lace and the entire sculpture is coated in a glossy sheen, making the organs particularly grotesque. This was created in the first year of the GCSE course. |
