Photo Description:
Mixed media, ink, water colours, pencil. the common expression 'a dog looks like its owner' is what intrigued me into exploring the relationship between a dog and their owner. After personally seeing how a dog interacts with its environment and its owner, I came to realise the the outside physical appearance of a dog may be of nothing like that of a human, however the inside emotional aspect of a dog and its owner are somewhat similar. The way inwhich they interact with each other and bond, demonstrates the idea of them becoming. One in my final composition I combined both physical appearance of a dog and its owner, as well as combining emotion and feelings shared between the dog and its owner. the combination of both the dog face with the human face is to represent the close relationship between the two, as well as the joy and happiness they each bring to one another.
