Cloud of Questions

Cloud of Questions
Photo Description:
All the pupils and teachers in the school took part in this project. The idea behind this work was to think about how artists had used ideas to create an artwork. We looked at the work of Annette Messager and Gillian Wearing. We wanted to create a cloud of questions and ideas that make you think beyond the everyday. We wanted the children to use and develop their thinking skills to create their own artwork. Each year group was given an image to use their starting point for between 1 and 3 sessions of Philosophy for Children. When everyone had a really good question the children wrote these on a piece of paper and then had their photograph taken with it. These were then printed out and laminated and they then added some ribbons, beads and feathers to them.
