In my series titled In My Room, I explored my relationship with my room and what it has provided me with. In the past year I have spent an increasing amount of time in my room as I have enjoyed being by myself more and more. I used to have a lot of anxiety that came with being alone, but once I got used to being alone, I started to cherish these moments of solitude. My room has become a place that is sacred to me. It encourages creativity and thoughtfulness. This series captures me being alone in my room. I shot it from above so the viewer is watching this experience rather than being there with me.
